finding govenor on 1971 ez-go gas golf cart?

I have a 71 ezgo gas golf cart & need to know where the govenor is & how to set the valves. can anyone help me. I would greatly be thankful for any help.

I don;t know that particular model, but most golf carts are the same and I have adjusted several in my day. Everytime, it is a 10mm nut on a long bolt that comes from the carburetor. Giving that a turn or two will give you more speed; I had one that tripled in speed, but I can;t guarantee that it won’t affect the longevity of the engine.
